Moodbidri : A young woman sustained injuries in a head-on collision between an autorickshaw and a pick-up vehicle at Todar on the Mangalore-Moodbidri National Highway on April 27 Sunday evening.
The injured girl is a student of the Mijar Engineering College and was on her way to the college in the autorickshaw.
If the pick-up vehicle was heading towards Moodbidri from Mangalore, the autorickshaw was heading towards the Mijar Engineering College from Vidyagiri. Eye witnesses said the pick-up vehicle was over speeding and was moving on the wrong direction.
No case has been registered as the matter was settled through talks.
