Patna:Sources say the JDU is likely to make a formal
announcement on ending its ties with the BJP. Yesterday, as Nitish Kumar
returned to Patna from a tour,he virtually announced that his
partnership with the BJP is over.Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made a
candid confession that it was becoming increasingly difficult to run a
coaliation.
Though
he looked relaxed and smiled as he quoted"Dua dete hai jeene ki, dawa
karte hai marne ki". This remark implied to the BJPs decision to grant
VVIP status to Narendra Modi, which has driven the alliance to break
point.
Counter attcking Kumars couplet BJPs Shahnawaz Hussains also responded stating a couplet, "Hum dua bhi dete hain, dawa bhi dete hain. Hum jise dost banate hain, unhe hum kabhi daga nahi dete hain!
Nitish has conveyed that Janata Dal-United legislature party meeting to be held on June 15-16 which will decide the future course of action.
BJPs Sushil Modi will meet the Bihar Chief Minister today to discuss the modalities of separation. Sushil Modi is the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, which the BJP co-governs with Mr Kumars JDU.
