Mangalore, Feb 18: In city at present seems to be an
unexpected holiday celebration is going on. Many of the shops, Areca-nut
processing units, local fruits vendors, transport offices, Jewelry
shops and many will close their shops for a time interval and several
have already closed for a day.
The cause of holiday is nothing but a trill to be a part of a rally at Nehru Maidan, where BJP PM Candidate is going to arrive at mean time to deliver his speech.
“We have shut down our shops for two hours in order to attend Modi’s rally,” local fruit vendor informed.
A huge number of Gujarati community who residing in the city have especially shut down their work places in order to attend Modi’s rally.
When asked about attending rally one of the Gujarati business man said “Our Gujarat’s tiger is coming to Mangalore. So, how can we miss today the louder roar of Modi in city’s rally!
We found many arecanut processing units in the city and nearby regions are shut down for a day or half day because of the laborers holiday.
“Our female laborers unpredictably called us this morning and informed that they won’t be coming at work today in order to attend Modi’s rally, consequently we closed our factory,” local areca-nut trader mentioned.
We are very curious to attend rally and listen our future PM’s speech. So we won’t be able to work today,” a labour said.
People from nearby villages’ Puttur, Vittala, are especially coming to attend Modi’s rally at Nehru Maidan. It is astounding to see such Modi obsession among people. A wave of excitement is going inside people to attend Modi’s rally.
It is not a simply passion but a craze which is making people to leave their work, offices and to attend BJP-PM candidates rally here on today.
