Mangalore : The Muslim community in the town celebrated the Eid Milad or Milad-Un-Nabi with much devotion and zeal on Tuesday January 14.
The Muslims around Bunder and Kudroli held processions carrying colorful flags and banners of their respective organizations. Women and children dressed in traditional attires too were part of the
processions, observing the festivity.
As this year the Muslim calendar marks the birth and death of the Prophet Mohammad on the same day thus the celebration are not as grand as every year.
