Huge tree crashes down on Mallikatta road

Mangalore Traffic on the Mallikatta Road was disrupted for a few hours during the wee hours of Thursday June 12 after a huge Mayflower tree  rolled onto the road following heavy rains.

Rs 20 lakh each to 21 GPs under Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan : ZP Chief

Attack on Pakistan airport leaves 23 dead

Islamabad, June 9 (IANS) : At least 23 people, including 10 terrorists, were killed at Pakistan's Jinnah International Airport in Karachi after it came under attack Sunday night, a leading Pakistani daily reported.

24 Hyderabad students washed away in Himachal, CM orders probe

Shimla, June 9 (IANS) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has ordered a probe in which at least 24 students, including six girls of an engineering college in Hyderabad, were reported missing after strong currents in the Beas river in Pradesh's Mandi district washed them away Sunday evening.
