Chandigarh boy tops AIIMS proves tutorials not so important

Chandigarh: Arnav Aggarwal (17)  the resident of Chandigarh not only topped the AIIMS pre-medical test, he did it without shelling loads and loads of money on tuition.
Arnav had also secured the second rank in IIT-JEE, but had decided to give up the seat as he hoped he had cracked the medical entrance. Well his efforts have paid off and he has baged the medical seat in the top most medical college AIIMS.

Intrestingly Arnav had earlier topped the city in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to all undergraduate medical colleges in the country. He, however, stood second nationally. Arnav had scored 95.4% marks in Class XII.

Arnavs father is a chartered accountant and mother a commerce teacher.

In an statemnt he says,“All I am aiming right now is to do my best in the college I get into. Having got into AIIMS is a dream come true,” he said. He added that though he had not resorted to tutorials, he had set himself a strict study regimen which he followed without fail.
