HAL chief manager gets three years Jail

New Delhi:  The Special Judge for CBI Cases, Bangalore has convicted Shri B. Tulasiraman, then Chief Manager, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.(HAL), Aircraft Division, Bangalore and sentenced him to undergo three years Rigorous Imprisonment with fine Rs.1,00,000/- in disproportionate assets case.

According to CBI, Tulasiraman was accused of acquiring assets worth Rs 18.89 lakh in his name and in the names of his family members, which were disproportionate to his known sources of income. The special judge for CBI cases in Bangalore convicted Tulasiraman.

The Trial Court found the accused guilty and convicted him.
