Gulbarga: A man is accused of feeding kerosene to his
infant at Shahapur town recently.Accused Kailasaiah is said to have fed
the fuel to his seventh-month-child, to threaten his wife Vishalakshi to
bring dowry. Vishalakshi and Kailasaiah had entered into wedlock two
years ago.
Though the incident happened on July 21, Vishalakshi complained to Yadgir SP Vamshi Krishna on July 27, that is after getting the child treated at a hospital in Gulbarga,sources said.
Shahapur town police, who have registered a case, are on the lookout for Kailasaiah.
