Mandya:Congress party has been lone party that follows its ideals, said the state PWD minister H C Mahadevappa.
Addressing the media persons, minister Mahadevappa said that the classic example is recently held bypolls in Mandya and Bangalore rural constituencies, because in this bypoll, majority of the parties including JDS and BJP disregarded their individual ideologies. However, Congress faced the bypolls adhering to its set ideologies won the elections with greater margins, said minister Mahadevappa.
The minister Mahadevappa further said that the unity among the party activists is essential. He urged the party activists to work collectively in welcoming UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi in the district on September 30, who will thank the voters for the thumping victory in the recent bypolls, said minister Mahadevappa.
