Hiremath urges tainted minister Santosh Lad to quit

Bangalore: S R Hiremath, chief of Samaj Parivartana Samudaya  has urged  Governor Hansraj Bhardwaj to seek the resignation of State Minister Santosh Lad who has been accused of being involved in illegal mining.
Hiremath  met Governor Bhardwaj at Raj Bhavan and handed proof consisting of over 126 pages related to the role of minister Santosh Lad in the illegal mining.

Addressing media persons later, Hiremath said that  Santosh Lad is the partner in M/s V S Lad Company that was accused of involved in illegal mining.  He also said that CM Siddaramaiah has been protecting Minister Santosh Lad, despite the  charges proved with supporting documents. The resignation of the tainted minister will help the state government regain the trust  of the people, Hiremath said.

Hiremath said that  Governor Bharadwaj after going through the papers, agreed with Hiremath’s contention and said that its CM Siddaramaiah who had to convince the erring minister to tender his resignation.
