Bangalore :Former chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa knows
a split opposition would be unable to stop the Congress from running
away with the majority of the 28 seats in the next Lok Sabha polls .
The veteran leader, now heading the Karnataka Janata Party, has therefore started talking of the need to strike a grand alliance of the NDA and Third Front ( read the BJP-KJP and JD-S in Karnataka) to salvage their pride in the polls.
There has been much talk about Yeddy returning to the BJP too. The Lingayat strongman however prefers to be guarded in his stance on merging his outfit with the saffron party.
