Bangalore: JDS will face the forthcoming Lok Sabha bypolls in Mandya and Bangalore rural singlehandedly, without forming an
understanding with BJP and hopes to win, said former PM and JDS supremo
H Deve Gowda.
Addressing
the media persons, Deve Gowda said that its his last battle in his
political life, hence there is no question of joining hands with none. I
have self respect since I have seen several upheavals in my political career. We will face the elections singlehandedly, and none need to
feel anxious about, said Deve Gowda.
The former CM Kumaraswamy is just JDS state president, and he is the national president whose decision is final and binds all. None can supersede the strategy formed by him, said Deve Gowda.
"There is no question of joining hands with BJP in the bypolls.I need not reply to those who criticize,", hinted Deve Gowda to CM Siddaramaiah. The rumors are that JDS leaders are in understand with BJP related to bypolls, but that is untrue. Because, JDS has its own strength in Mandya and Bangalore rural constituencies, and that he need not join hands with other parties, clarified Deve Gowda.
Some rumormongers are trying to create chaos among JDS activists by spreading rumors of JDS and BJP are to form secret understanding. Meanwhile, such kind of rumors will not be beneficial to a certain party, urged Deve Gowda.
